My ex left me. He came back after a year and half. Then we lasted 5 months and split again. It’s the same time again. Will he come back? I love him so much. I’m still on my own and don’t want anybody else.
I have no way of knowing the answer to what your ex is going to do. My crystal ball is broken.
People tend to repeat past their behavior unless something major changes.
There wasn’t more detail in your question so I don’t know what it is for you.
And, I’ve repaired my own relationship with two significant separations myself, so I’m not speaking here from a place of thinking that yours is any less important or means nothing to you. Not at all.
I KNOW relationships can be saved and repaired. I live that reality every day.
But here’s the thing:
If someone wants to be gone from my life, I want them to experience that reality.
If I really love them like I say I do, then I want what THEY want for themselves.
Not what I think I want for them or whatever self improvement project I can cook up for us to do together.
I don’t want our relationship to be a constant self improvement project where we’re both constantly trying not to leave.
If we can’t stay together peacefully, then it makes perfect sense NOT to be together right now. If we have joyful times together and want to keep doing that, then I’m all for it. Reality has the answers.
You said something I found interesting there–

It’s as though this condition of singleness and desire on your part is making you think that your relationship with your ex is meant to be. It’s meant to be if it’s happening!
If your relationship is not happening right now, it’s hard to say whether or not it’s meant to be.
So go out, enjoy yourself and spend fun times with new people.
Just because there isn’t anyone else now doesn’t mean there can’t be anyone else. The limitation about that is in your mind.
As far as what your ex boyfriend is going to do… again, my crystal ball is in the shop.
