Why did my ex bf make promises and lie that he still lives with someone? He kept saying I belong to him only. I know he cares, but I’m not a side or second to no-one?
I don’t know why your ex boyfriend lied to you. It sounds like he thought lying was easier than telling you the truth.
The thing is, you might THINK he cares, but that is very different from him acting like your feelings matter or he cares about you.
This is why people get hooked on hot and cold behavior. Because they ignore the COLD part and get all hopeful when the person acts HOT.
But the cold part tells you everything you need to know.
For goodness sakes! Your ex boyfriend lied to you about living with SOMEONE ELSE. This is not a small white lie.
He might be completely in love with you. He might be an angel from the heavens. I don’t care. It does NOT matter.
Not only did he lie to you, but he lied to the person he lives with!
He can care about you all day long. It does NOT matter.
IF– and that’s a very BIG IF– he gets it together, makes up for his mistake, moves out (and you can 100% verify this is the case) and wants a full relationship with you, then you can see if that makes sense to even remotely consider.
But I think it would be crazy to trust someone who lied about something so huge, because you’re allowing terrible behavior. But that’s your decision to make about your life.
To me, lying about something like this is complete deal breaker behavior.
However, he hasn’t done this and that’s not the reality right now.
Right now, I don’t even need any more details to tell you that you already have everything you need to know to KEEP IT MOVING away from this man.
