Attorney Michael Giel lived in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and their three children. Everyone who met his family agreed that he was the luckiest man in the world.
He was a proud graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, the University of South Florida, the United States Marine Corps Advanced Machine Gun Leaders Course, and boot camp at Parris Island. Over the course of his successful career, Michael wrote many articles for national or statewide legal publications, and Florida Super Lawyers awarded him a Rising Star award many years in a row.
Having seen the dark side of family law litigation, Michael was deeply interested in helping people nurture and save their marriages and was working on a book about marriage called Deep Water Your Marriage at the time of his passing.
